Thursday, September 4, 2014

Institute for Patient- and Family-Centered Care hosts Moving Forward with Patient- and Family Centered Care Partnerships for Quality and Safety on November 3-6, 2014 in Cambridge, MA

Moving Forward with Patient- and Family-Centered Care: An Intensive Training Seminar provides three and a half days of comprehensive, practical sessions to help administrative leaders, board members, physicians, nurses and other staff, patients, and families collaborate effectively to advance the practice of patient- and family-centered care.

Presentations during the seminar aim to provide the most current insights and strategies in advancing the practice of patient- and family-centered care. Attendees will accomplish four goals:

1. Learn patient- and family-centered concepts and strategies to bring about sustainable change and improvement.
2. Meet and learn from over 30 faculty comprised of experts in patient- and family-centered care—administrative leaders, physicians, nurses, staff, and patient and family leaders.
3. Develop an “Action Plan” tailored to the priorities and needs of your organization.
4. Obtain essential tools and resources and expand your network of colleagues and peers.

Join the fun on Wednesday, November 5th at our Celebratory Dinner in the Historic Fenway Park!

Continuing education credits will be available (pending approval) for Physicians, Nurses, Social Workers, Child Life Specialists, and Health Educators.
